VOBE School-Wide Behavior Plan

Our school has implemented a new behavior plan.  Students are responsible for recording their behaviors daily in their agendas. 

Here is an overview of the levels of infractions (ranked accordingly to severity):

Level 1

Level 3

  • Inappropriate language
  • Brining personal possessions, toys, or electronics
  • Running in the halls
  • Tattling
  • Littering/not picking up trash or personal items
  • Excessive talking
  • Off task behavior, inattentiveness, goofing off
  • Pushing or cutting line
  • Blurting or shouting out
  • Unprepared for class (agenda not returned and signed)
  • Not keeping hands, feet, and objects to self
  • Using profanity or swearing
  • Deceitfulness or forgery
  • Not being in in appropriate or designated area
  • Obscene gestures
  • Insubordination (example:defying or refusing authority
  • Stealing
  • Physical altercation or battery
  • Possession of weapon
  • Sexual misconduct
  • Disrespectful speech/profanity or actions toward staff
  • Serious verbal threat
  • Defacing or vandalizing school property (example: graffiti, destruction of property)
  • Spitting as assault
  • Leaving school without permission
  • Possession of ruse of illegal substances

There will be rewards and consequences in place that correspond with the behavior plan. 

Students who meet specific grade level criteria will be eligible to participate in the Choices Rewards at the end of each grading term. 

For consequences, students may complete a conflict resolution activity, complete work, or other teacher choice consequences during recess time as indicated in the school-wide behavior policy.
